Altec is looking for a web developer to join our Scrum Team. As part of the Production Information Technology team, the developer will help build and maintain the software that is used in our manufacturing, quality, and engineering processes.


  • Angular, current version
  • C#, .NET 5.0/.NETCORE
  • SQL Server
  • IIS (on-prem)
  • AWS (cloud)


  • Scope, Design, and Develop software features for PIT
  • Active scrum team member delivering stories and tasks, scoping new features, and troubleshooting existing features
  • Participate in Peer Reviews
  • Develop automated tests for existing and new code
  • Upgrade, refactor, and replace legacy systems where appropriate
  • Support production systems on the manufacturing floor which may occasionally require work outside of regular business hours
  • May occasionally travel for scoping events, professional development, and training


  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or related technical discipline OR four years of full-time equivalent work experience required
  • Familiarity with writing SQL queries and table design
  • Familiarity with modern software development practices
  • Continuous Integration / Deployment (CI/CD)
  • Agile Development practices
  • Familiarity with REST API development
  • Endpoint planning / implementation
  • Spec generation / verification
