Education, Experience, and Skills required
This position works closely with business to support the Altec Prevention and Safety Management System (APSMS). Responsible for being a subject matter expert (SME) for specific assigned areas within Safety & Health. Supports the business of prevention and safety efforts, regulatory compliance, and overall governance programs within Altec. Responsibility for auditing of the Altec Prevention Safety Management System within Altec. Auditing is a team-based approach within the Corporate Safety Team. Monitoring governmental agencies and external associations to anticipate, track, and communicate regulatory activity and requirements. This position includes project management, the supervision of external consultants. Serve as a member of the Corporate Prevention and Safety Management Team. Provide direct support and leadership to safety professionals functioning at various manufacturing, assembly and service facilities within assigned region.
