Basic Qualifications for Entry-Level:

  • High School Diploma or GED AND four years of industry-related experience OR
  • A bachelor’s degree with some industry-related knowledge

Basic Qualifications for Supervisor II (may be preferred):

  • Bachelor’s degree AND two years of supervision, industry-related preferred OR
  • High School Diploma or GED AND five years of industry-related supervision

Travel 0 – 25%

Problem solving and troubleshooting skills required

General PC skills required

Excellent communication skills required

Must be able to work with team members and work with minimal supervision

Current valid Driver’s License may be required

Ability to read and interpret required manuals, prints and schematics preferred

Major Responsibilities

  • Monitor and supervise daily activities to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability
  • Enable continuous training for new and current technicians.
  • Have safety and environmental considerations and regulations figure prominently in mindset and practice.
  • Ensure efficient and effective work methods
  • Champion and implement process improvement.
  • Responsible to communicate with Material Control to ensure proper parts are available for each job to prevent interruption of production while meeting customer requirements
  • Maintain consistent communication to foster positive relationships with account manager and customer
  • Foster team spirit in concert with Altec Values to maintain a successful Service Group within the overall Altec organization.
