Altec Capital Services is currently looking for a Remarketing and Repair Specialist in Waxahacie, TX. This position is responsible for managing onsite and offsite lease asset logistics, including the physical movement of inventory, logistics, inspections, repairs, setting sales prices and developing relationships with vendors and funding sources.

Altec specializes in the manufacture, sale and service of aerial devices, digger derricks, cranes and specialty equipment for the electric utility, telecommunications, tree care, construction, and light and sign maintenance industries in more than 120 countries throughout the world. Altec Capital Services offers customized lease and purchase financing solutions, to make every purchase more affordable and convenient for our customers.

 

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and/or approves Chassis and up fit estimates and repair validations
  • Facilitates off-lease equipment sales
  • Assists with bank-owned inventory audits
  • Manages both NUECO and third party repair expenses and communicates with ACS Asset Managers why certain repairs are necessary and assists in explaining to funding sources, if necessary.
  • Assists with inventory audits with Altec’s auditors (Ernst & Young)
  • Develops relationships with the customers and Altec Industries account managers to facilitate end of lease logistics
  • Manages End of Lease Turn in Process - logistics, inspections, and sales
  • Assists ACS Asset Managers with billing customers for excessive mileage and wear on the equipment;  Often requires direct conversations with customers and account managers on why they are being billed for certain items
  • All other duties as assigned

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; OR
  • High School plus four years of directly applicable experience
  • Knowledgeable of Altec equipment and chassis strongly preferred
  • Exceptional performance in meeting and exceeding the job requirements of current role if applicable (employee of Altec)
  • Travel 0-25%
  • CDL required (location specific)
