Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

  • Provide Accounts Payable support in Finance group

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Convert all supplier invoices to electronic format and submit for electronic approval

  • Apply correct General Ledger account codes to supplier invoices

  • Review and analysis of sales tax accounts and filing of sales tax returns

  • Reconcile credit card statements to supporting documentation for corporate cards

  • Distribute all Parts invoices to Canadian customers

  • Complete and distribute all rental invoices to Canadian customers

  • Review supplier statements and reconcile to AP in Oracle

  • Respond to enquiries from suppliers regarding payment

  • Support courier and shipping requirements for interoffice correspondence

  • All other duties as assigned


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Three years AP experience required

  • Current valid Driver’s License

  • PC skills using spreadsheets, word processing and other office management applications required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be able to work with team members and work with minimal supervision
