Global Rental, a division of Altec, is looking for a Sr. Administrative / Business Operations Associate in Birmingham, AL.  This position will work directly with the fleet management program to provide assistance in many aspects of the business.


Altec specializes in the manufacture, sale and service of aerial devices, digger derricks, cranes and specialty equipment for the electric utility, telecommunications, tree care, construction, and light and sign maintenance industries in more than 120 countries throughout the world. Global Rental offers rental equipment, units for sale and access to our “Storm Fleet,” providing access to our equipment when our customers need it most.

  • Possesses excellent communication, time management and administrative skills
  • Enjoys working independently while collaborating with Altec teams

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works directly with Altec manufacturing locations and their invoicing associates
  • Responsible for approving major unit invoices
  • Responsible for handling and security of chassis MSOs
  • Responsible for collectiong and processing all Titling and Registration documents for units
  • All other duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

The job level is able to be adjusted at time of hire, if the candidate meets the qualifications for jobs of a more experienced level in the career path.

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D. required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Three plus years of applicable experience and knowledge required without Bachelor’s Degree
  • Basic understanding of equipment titling business
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Strong organizational skills with an appreciation for detail
