Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2 years of applicable HR experience required
  • Excellent computer skills required
  • PHR preferred
  • Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft, Oracle, and/or Kronos experience preferred


Responsibilities

  • Recruitment
    • Take ownership of Recruitment and Selection Hiring Process for selected openings, from identification of need to New Hire, as a full-service provider, including arranging on-site interviews
    • Performs searches for qualified job candidates, using sources such as computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, social media advertisements, job fairs, recruiting firms, or associate referrals
    • Review and evaluate applicant qualifications or reviews employment applications and job orders to match applicants with job requirements
    • Develop sourcing and recruiting initiatives to assist the location in meeting Affirmative Action Goals
    • Schedules and coordinates company sponsored on-site and off-site events
    • Continue administration of New Hires for openings through the New Hire process, exercising strong HR Generalist responsibilities
  • Act as point of contact for designated HR processes
  • Maintain and champion professional awareness of and adherence to documentation requirements and confidentiality of information
  • Ensures company compliance with federal and state laws, including reporting requirements
  • Assist with range of Generalist duties, as HR peak workload requires or as time allows
  • Supports HR Manager & HR Business Partners with a broad range of HR matters via phone, email and in person
  • Provides support with associate issues and, questions
  • Facilitates associates’ involvement with various corporate initiatives including training and development, wellness, etc.
  • Conducts or coordinates meetings with departments and appropriate HR Business Partner or Supervisors to address issues; partners with managers to identify and facilitate training as needed for associates/managers
  • Analyzes organizational, occupational, and industrial data to facilitate organizational functions, and develop job analysis instruments and materials
  • Implements, administers, and evaluates associate programs, including performance appraisal, affirmative action, and employment equity programs
  • Observes, interviews, and surveys associates, and conducts focus group meetings to collect job, organizational, and occupational information
  • Plans and develops curricula and materials for training programs and conducts training
  • Prepares reports, such as organization and flow charts, and career path reports
  • Conducts exit interviews
  • Prepares or maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software
  • All other duties as assigned
