Altec Capital Services (ACS) is currently looking for a Remarketing and Asset Analyst in Birmingham, AL. Altec Capital offers customized lease and purchase financing solutions, to make every purchase more affordable and convenient for our customers. The Remarketing and Asset Analyst is responsible for assisting in risk management function of setting and reviewing residual values and managing off lease inventory, including logistics, inspections, repairs and maintaining relationships with funding partners and vendors.   

Altec specializes in the manufacture, sale and service of aerial devices, digger derricks, cranes and specialty equipment for the electric utility, telecommunications, tree care, construction, and light and sign maintenance industries in more than 120 countries throughout the world.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and/or approves Chassis and up fit estimates and repair validations
• Facilitates off-lease equipment sales
• Set Residual Values for potential FMV leases
• Assists with bank-owned inventory audits
• Manages both NUECO and third party repair expenses and evaluate new vendor opportunities
• Assists with inventory audits with Altec’s auditors (Ernst & Young)
• Develops relationships with the customers and Altec Industries account managers to facilitate end of lease logistics
• Manages End of Lease Turn in Process - logistics, inspections, and sales
• Estimate and initiate end of lease chargebacks to customers for excessive mileage and wear on the equipment; Often requires direct conversations with customers and account managers on why they are being billed for certain items
• All other duties as assigned

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

• Bachelor’s Degree and two years of experience required
• General knowledgeable of Construction and/or utility equipment preferred
• Exceptional performance in meeting and exceeding the job requirements of current role if applicable (employee of Altec)
• Willingness to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to network with funding partners is required.
• Travel 0-25%
