There is an immediate need for a Human Resources Manager at Elizabethtown, KY Operations.  This focus factory thrives in Hardin County where affordable housing, quality health care, mild weather, good schools, safe neighborhoods, a short commute, and friendly people are the norm.

The Successful Candidate

  • Has a strong professional awareness of how Human Resources interfaces within the overall management team to utilize Human Capital to impact business results
  • Is technically proficient in the broad range of HR functions, both in theory and application, including best practices, with awareness of legal implications
  • Fosters an environment where associates produce quality products in a dynamic team environment, with a consistent focus on Altec values
  • Has experience with and a sensitivity for understanding customer requirements
  • Has a commitment to Human Resources as a profession, focused on productive and positive business relationships
  • In addition to technical competence, this key player will have excellent communication, coaching and mentoring skills
  • Is relationship-driven, with highly developed organization skills
  • Engages in high levels of diplomacy and maintains confidentiality  

 Basic Qualifications

A four-year college degree is required.  Master’s Degree preferred.

In addition, one of the following requirements must be met:

  • Min 7 years of Altec Human Resources experience with PHR Certification; or
  • Min 7 years of Human Resources experience with at least 4 years of Supervisor / Manager experience and PHR Certification; or
  • 10 years' minimum of Human Resources experience with 5 years of Supervisor / Manager experience, without PHR Certification; or
  • 5 years’ Altec experience with a minimum of 3 years of Altec Operations Management experience.
