Responsible for hose fabrication for high reach aerial devices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Reads work order to determine customer requirements. Provide quality and timely workmanship on each work order.
•Plumb each truck body components following plumb blueprints specifications.
•Reads schematics to various truck body components to be installed such as hydraulic values, oil tanks, flow regulators, pressure switches.
•Reads blue prints and uses tape rule to measure truck body for extension installation.
•Double checks own workmanship for leaks and repairs, install augers as needed.
•Uses small and large manual hand tools to bolt assembly components to truck chassis.
•Performs re-work as required.
Must have High School Diploma or GED
Vocational and/or prior work experience in hydraulics preferred
2-3 years experience working in a manufacturing setting preferred
