Responsibilities
Global Rental Company, a division of Altec, is currently looking for a Rental Coordinator located in St. Joseph, MO. Other locations/remote work may be considered depending on qualifications and experience of candidate.This position coordinates effective and timely communication, correspondence, with account managers and customers.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for entering and ending all rental agreements.
• Support account managers with customer equipment requests via e-mails, phone calls, texts, voice mails, etc.
• Manage equipment moves for starting and ending rentals. Work with multiple transportation companies to arrange moves in most efficient and expedited manner.
• Manage and update inventory within sales region. Work with other rental coordinators in swapping and acquiring needed equipment.
• Manage the information from Altec Service Centers regarding acceptance and completion of units worked on by service technicians. Relay information from service support staff to account managers and customers.
• Maintain and prepare variety of documents related to rentals, including insurance, inspections, mileage tracking and special customer requests.
• Provide internal support to members of Global Rental corporate team, as well as Altec, Inc. entities.
• All other duties as assigned

Education, Experience, and Skills Required
• High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Two plus years of administrative experience required
• PC Skills using spreadsheets, word processing, and other office management applications required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have good time management skills to manage tasks
• Demonstrated customer and people skills
• Must be able to work in a team environment
