Altec Capital Services (ACS), a division of Altec, is hiring an Accounting Associate in Birmingham, AL.

Altec Capital Services (ACS) is a division of Altec, that offers a variety of flexible and affordable finance options for equipment to help our customers improve cash flow while increasing overall profitability.

 

Responsibilities

  • High volume data entry
  • Processing payments for suppliers or customers
  • Operating postage and inserter machine
  • Creating and/or reviewing monthly statements for suppliers or customers
  • Assisting with research related to payments received from outside sources
  • Communicating with suppliers or customers regarding account status
  • Assisting in monthly closings as needed
  • Assisting with regulatory and tax compliance
  • All other duties as assigned

 

 

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Some experience preferred
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
  • PC skills Office 365 suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work with team members and work with direct supervision
