Work with and design a range of aerial equipment that helps to keep the electricity on and telecommunications systems running.

Work in a facility that manufactures, assembles, and tests its own products.  

Have the opportunity to contribute in a variety of areas – structures, hydraulics, controls, mechanical systems, dielectrics, etc.

Hands-on approach is encouraged with the opportunity to take part in producing and testing your own prototypes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a Master’s Degree in Engineering (excludes Engineering Technology)
• 2 years of experience preferred for internal candidates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and with minimal supervision.
• Willing to travel up to 25% of the time, potentially on short notice, which may include flying.

Responsibilities:

• Design, modify, and/or apply components and systems using engineering methods and techniques to meet specified objectives and schedules.
• Analyze and solve complex product design, application, manufacturing, installation, and service problems.
• Understand and apply fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in the engineering field.
• Collaborate with other engineers and technical personnel in order to meet objectives.
• Interface directly with suppliers and customers.
• Analyze new technologies for potential application in utility equipment.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to others who may possess varying levels of technical proficiency.
• Support quality improvements in all facets of the company's business.
• Operate with appropriate decision-making latitude within the scope of an assignment.
• Collaborate with various teams within the organization to solve technical problems and promote continuous improvement.

Should the selected candidate meet the qualifications of a more experienced level in the career path, the job level may be adjusted.
