Our auction subsidiary, JJ Kane, currently has an opening for a Business Development Analyst in our offices located in Birmingham, AL (Corporate)The ideal candidate will be able to complie and analyze data with regard to competition, product portfolio, mergers and acquistions.

Responsibilities:

  •   Research and analyzes current and future business opportunities. 
  • Identifies auction trends and developments in competitive environments and summarizes findings. 
  • Compile and analyze data regarding potential auction mergers and acquisitions.
  • Perform financial forecasting. 
  • Assist in developing projections, reports, and presentations of the financial impact for potential business development projects.
  • Support our strategic planning meetings by helping with logistics, meeting materials, summaries, etc. 
  • Support preparation of contracts/agreements with customers, suppliers, and/or partners.
  • Work on projects and or matters of complexity in a support role. 
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Four Year Bachelor’s degree required – Math, Engineering, Finance preferred
  • Master’s degree desired.
  • 2+ Years work experience in engineering, consulting, banking, finance or other strategy/business development role required
