Staff Accountant - Altec Capital Services

Altec Capital Services (ACS) is currently looking for a Staff Accountant in Birmingham, AL. The purpose of this position is to reconcile high-volume accounts and to assist with the accounting at lease commencement.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

• Bachelor’s  Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• One to three years accounting experience preferred but not required
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

Responsibilities

• Cash Reconciliation
• Assist in resolving AP issues
• Periodically monitor AP invoices to ensure they are accounted for and posting to General Ledger
• Process lease booking
• Establish and adjust sundries accounts
• Perform high volume reconciliations
• Process payment to funding sources
• All other duties as assigned
