Qualifications:

• ABET EAC certified Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (excludes Engineering Technology) or a Master’s Degree in Engineering
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Ability to work with team members and work with minimal supervision.
• Willing to travel up to 25% of the time, potentially on short notice, which may include flying.
• Prior interaction with Altec Team at a recruitment event highly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide support and assist multiple Final Assembly plants with Green Fleet products through production.
• Collaborate with other Green Fleet Operations Engineers to ensure cohesiveness throughout Altec’s Final Assembly plants as we integrate new Green Fleet products into production.
• Develop training opportunities to assist Sales, Engineering, Production and Service regarding Green Fleet products. 
• Coordinate and implement, as necessary, modifications in work instructions and process control.
• Review the design of components and parts; recommend design changes that will facilitate efficient product integration and cost reduction.
• Provide leadership to improve work processes, utilize new technologies, meet business needs and implement best practices.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts in the areas of safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Ensure manufacturing is building product in conformance to current engineering documentation.
• Analyze production methods, processes, and operations to determine design modifications that will enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop processes for managing operational activities, promote common work instructions, and implement quality standards.
• Put processes in place to provide clear communication amongst the FA's for new product rollouts as well as product improvements.
• Support integration of products into different chassis models as well as model year changes.
• Support new product launches that effect multiple facilities (Core Controls/Worldview/Electric Vehicles)
